Through the Community School Model, trusted relationships make it possible to quickly connect families with the resources they need. This past school year, a teacher learned that one of their students couldn’t complete homework because there was no electricity at home.

The expERIEnce Children’s Museum, a valued partner of the Community School Model, included Union City Elementary in a grant that allowed families to attend a free “Night at the Museum.”

For many children, a simple pair of glasses can be the key to unlocking their full potential in the classroom. 

In the 2024-2025 school year, Harding marked a big step forward by bringing families together.

In September 2024, Harding Elementary celebrated its 100th anniversary with over 700 students, families, alumni, and community members in attendance.

During the 2024–2025 school year, Reed Manufacturing, Strong Vincent’s Corporate Partner, made a significant and lasting impact on the school community through a series of initiatives designed to support students and their families.

Saturday Boys Basketball Team - has served as a powerful source of mentorship, structure, and encouragement for more than 36 at-risk young men.

Jefferson Elementary implemented intentional strategies this year to recognize and celebrate students, staff, and families, fostering a stronger sense of school pride and a positive school culture.

Jefferson Elementary made a remarkable mark this year by becoming the champions again of the 2nd Annual Royal NFL Community School Flag Football tournament.

As one of the first schools in Erie County to adopt the Community School Model, Edison has had years to build a volunteer system that’s as intentional as it is impactful. And it shows.

In the 2024-25 school year, there were well over 200 student enrollments throughout the year.

Perry expanded unique, family-centered offerings to build a strong connection between students, their parents and guardians, and the school.
