Poverty Data

United Way of Erie County utilizes American Community Survey data to analyze poverty rates for Erie County.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the US Census Bureau did not release official American Community Survey data for the year of 2020. Instead, experimental estimates were released that did not include the Erie County region.

2012 Federal Poverty household income was $11,344 (individual) and $23,021 (family of four)
