Thank You Community School Directors

Wednesday Sep 21st, 2022

At the heart of United Way of Erie County community schools are 16 community school directors (CSDs). CSDs are strategic partners with their respective school's leadership team coordinating and aligning resources that help to eliminate the nonacademic barriers to learning for students and families.

A collective impact framework helps CSDs achieve success through comprehensive support services, expanded learning opportunities and family engagement. Using data, CSDs assess community and student needs, propose, collaborate and implement solutions and engage in continuous improvement.

CSDs are an integral part to our mission in mobilizing resources to break the cycle of poverty and ultimately pave the way for academic success. CSDs go above and beyond to provide resources and offer support to students, families and school staff. They continue to make a positive difference within the community, their schools and as United Way employees.

We are proud of the hard work, compassion and dedication demonstrated each day. Thank you for all you do to support and enhance the community!
