This year, East experienced meaningful progress in improving school culture through a combination of Community School supports and a new district partnership with WestEd consultants.
While the Community School Model continued to provide vital resources and wraparound support, WestEd's focus on leadership and culture shift helped strengthen systems already in place. Surveys taken before and after WestEd’s involvement showed an average increase of 0.6 points (on a 5-point scale) in key areas including leadership, talent development, instructional transformation, and overall culture.
