Erie Strayer Joins as Corporate Partner for McKinley Elementary
United Way of Erie County is proud to announce that Erie Strayer has joined McKinley Elementary as its official Corporate Partner through the United Way Community Schools initiative.
As a Corporate Partner, Erie Strayer will provide both financial and hands-on support to help McKinley students overcome non-academic barriers to learning. This includes employee volunteerism, career exposure opportunities, and targeted in-kind and project support aligned with McKinley’s data-driven Action Plan.
"At Erie Strayer, we believe that strong communities start with strong schools. Partnering with McKinley Elementary is a natural fit for our company, allowing us to support students in ways that remove barriers to learning and open doors to opportunity. Now, more than ever, schools need community partners to help address both academic and non-academic challenges. Through employee volunteerism, career exposure, and targeted support for classroom and basic needs, we are committed to making a meaningful, lasting impact. We’re excited to work alongside McKinley Elementary and United Way to help every student succeed in school—and in life.” -Kyle Strayer, President & CEO, Erie Strayer
To celebrate this new partnership, a press announcement was held on Thursday, September 25 at McKinley Elementary. Corporate Partners like Erie Strayer are essential to breaking the cycle of generational poverty. By engaging employees, offering resources, and providing career connections, they help ensure every student has the tools and support needed in school and in life.
United Way of Erie County and McKinley Elementary are grateful for Erie Strayer’s commitment and look forward to the lasting impact this partnership will bring to students, families, and the community.
