Women United for Community Schools

Period products are essential.

Help stock United Way Community School closets with the products students need to feel supported, confident and ready for the school day.

Help Remove One More Barrier

Imagine missing school because you don't have access to basic period products.

Menstrual health is as essential as access to toilet paper, yet it remains an often-overlooked need. As a member of Women United, you're invited to help provide high-quality, freely accessible products so students don't have to worry about going without.

Your contributions will support United Way Community School closets at Wilson, East, Strong Vincent and Erie High.

Supporting four schools: Wilson • East • Strong Vincent • Erie High

Most-Needed Items

Our Community School Directors have identified these five items as the highest priority:

Pads with wings
Panty liners
Tampons with plastic applicators
Underwear Youth Medium – Women's XL
Leggings Youth Medium – Women's XL

Please only purchase items listed above. Additional items are not needed for this drive.

Your support provides more than products. It provides dignity, eases financial stress on families and helps students stay focused on learning.

Deadline: Friday, December 4, 2026

Make a Monetary Gift

At the Holiday Party, we can accept credit card payments or checks payable to United Way of Erie County with "WU Drive" in the memo.

You can also give online through the 2026 Women United Feminine Hygiene Drive.
