Happy July! And, Happy 10th Anniversary to United Way's Imagination Library for Erie County which was launched in July 2013. To celebrate this significant milestone as a valued supporter of our mission to promote literacy and empower children, we invite you to join us in commemorating this remarkable achievement.
Can you imagine not having one children’s book when you were growing up? Since 2013, United Way has made sure that is not the reality for 28,667 children living right here in the Erie region. 28,667 children have received new, age-appropriate books delivered right to their home at no cost to their families through the Imagination Library for Erie County. To date, 1,067,065 books have been mailed to children in Erie County.
Over the past decade, the Imagination Library has had a profound impact on the lives of children in our community. Through your generous contributions, we have provided thousands of books to young minds, nurturing a love for reading and fostering a strong foundation for lifelong learning. Your belief in the power of education has made a difference that will be felt for generations to come.
Supporters of the program are ensuring children in Erie County have access to the transformative power of books. There are new babies being born in Erie County every day and we want to make sure they receive books of their very own.
