Community School Director, Perry Elementary

United Way's Community School Director at Perry Elementary reports to the Senior Director of Community Impact but is also accountable to the Perry principal and the Community School Leadership Team.

The Director will assist the elementary school in the development and implementation of a comprehensive community school program that will include administrators, principals, teachers, students, parents and community members. The Director will also ensure compliance with state standards and guidelines, scope of services and all other requirements of the Community School Partnership. A Bachelor's degree is required. A Master’s degree in a related field, education and nonprofit related experience is preferred. A cover letter and resume sent to is required for consideration. Community Impact Manager, Data & Evaluation

The Community Impact Manager of Data and Evaluation is an organized, outgoing, strategic and results-driven individual. As a member of the Community Impact Department, this person leads the data collection and evaluation efforts for United Way of Erie County and is directly involved in the Community School, Raising Readers and 211 initiatives. This person reports to the Vice President of Community Impact and also provides support to other Community Impact Managers of Data and Evaluation. This is a three-year grant funded position. Erie FREE Taxes Site Coordinator

United Way is currently seeking interested applicants for Erie FREE Taxes Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) site supervisor positions. One position is expected to be located in North East. The positions are temporary and part time. Three days per week, up to fifteen hours per week, January 2022 through mid-April 2022. $14 per hour. Requirements include: adherence to CDC and Erie County Department of Health safety requirements, minimum two years recent tax preparation experience, supervisory experience, IRS certification, computer and data entry skills, communication and organizational skills and PA State Police background check.
