Time (Tentative Schedule of Events):

8:30 – 9:30 a.m. Welcome Meeting at United Way East Conference Room
9:30 – 9:45 a.m. Travel to McKinley Elementary Community School
9:45 – 10:45 a.m. Tour of McKinley Elementary School
10:45 – 11 a.m. Travel to United Way
11:15 a.m. – Noon Meet with Superintendents from Erie’s Public Schools, Girard School District, Iroquois School District and Union City School District
12:15 – 2 p.m. Local United Way CEO Lunch
2:15 p.m. Delegation Departs

Details:
United Way of Erie County (UWEC) is pleased to be hosting United Way Worldwide's Northeast Regional Director, John Emge, in Erie to showcase our work addressing generational poverty in our community. We are also pleased to welcome other local United Way leaders from Northwest Pennsylvania and Ohio who will travel to Erie for John's visit. The day will include a visit to McKinley Elementary, a United Way community school launched in 2016.

Representing other local United Ways will be:

• Marisa Lines, United Way of Crawford County
• Will Price, United Way of Venango County
• Carla Regginello, United Way of Mercer County
