The Erie County Department of Human Services in partnership with ServErie and United Way's 211 Helpline are in desperate need of volunteers (adults age 18+) to assist in the operation of the Homeless Overflow Shelter. Volunteers are needed immediately to help around the clock in incremental shifts. If you are interested in learning more and finding out if you may qualify to volunteer please visit PA211NW.org.

The Treasury Department and Internal Revenue Service have announced that the federal income tax filing due date is automatically extended from April 15, 2020, to July 15, 2020. Taxpayers can also defer federal income tax payments due on April 15, 2020, to July 15, 2020, without penalties and interest, regardless of the amount owed.
