Labor Kickoff
United Way of Erie County hosts its Labor Kickoff for the 2006 Campaign and pays tribute to its long-standing partnership with labor at the Third Street Polish Falcons Club. AFL/CIO UWA Northeast Regional Director Bill Howenstein will be highlighting the union's efforts in response to Hurricane Katrina and the attacks on September 11. The Young Leaders Club celebrates the start of football season and of United Way's 2006 Campaign at Buffalo Wild Wings Grill & Bar. Success By 6 Symposium
Join us for the 2006 Sucess By 6 Symposium. On the night of October 5, a Parent's Night Out will be held at The Hirt Auditorium. Nancy Samalin will speak on the topic of "What to Do When Kids Drive You Up the Wall: Positive Discipline That Works." This event is free and open to the public.
On October 6, the Success By 6 Symposium will be held at the Ambassador Banquet and Conference Center. Nancy Samalin and Michael Brandwein will be the featured speaker at this event, which costs $45 (including lunch) to attend.
