- Assisting residents of older urban neighborhoods to improve their communities
A few examples of results-to-date:
- United Way's funding of the Job Preparation program at Quality of Life Learning Center enabled 141 adult graduates to gain employment or enroll in advanced skill training.
- Money Works For You, the first initiative ever jointly funded by United Way and The Erie Community Foundation, provided training for 51 case workers from 26 agencies so they are better prepared to address the financial concerns of hardworking families.
