Since its beginning in 1996, United Way's women's leadership program has grown to over 130 United Ways. The program has engaged more than 32,000 women in helping their communities and has collectively raised over $70 million!

United Way of Erie County's Women In Action is a powerful leadership network of women who strengthen our community through a focused investment of their resources, time and talent.

The mission of Women In Action is "To mobilize the caring power of women to improve lives by addressing critical needs in our community."
