Although we won't have the final results of our fundraising campaign until April 2010, we are already witnessing a large number of companies and other organizations stepping up their support of United Way. They know that together, united, we can accomplish more than any of us can on our own.

American Red Cross employees gave $727, an 83% increase over their 2008 campaign.
Employees of American Tinning & Galvanizing increased their giving by 5% as they pledged more than $12,000.
Bianchi Motors employees gave over $10,000, a 26% increase over their 2008 campaign.
Bon-Ton employees increased their giving by a stellar 31% as they pledged more than $3,100.
Burns Manufacturing Inc. increased its corporate gift by 67%, bringing its total to $500.
Community Resources for Independence saw a 12% increase over their previous campaign as they raised their total pledge amount to $6,000.
The members of EMTA Lift Local #1710 increased their giving by 38% as they pledged more than $2,600.
An increase in employee donations and a corporate donation led to over $1,100 in pledges from Erie Aviation, a 62.9% increase over their previous campaign high.
Erie Housing Authority had 100% participation for the ninth consecutive year - and saw a 15% increase over last year!
Erie Regional Chamber and Growth Partnership's employee campaign reached $7,570, an increase of 15% over 2008.
The workers at Finish Thompson raised more than $15,000 for United Way, an increase of 4%.
PNC's combined employee and corporate contribution in 2009 totaled $102,447, a 7% increase.
United Way of Erie County's employees pledged an average of over $1,000 per person!
Wegmans increased their campaign contribution by over 4% to $85,842.
